Glannie Kahula Ayoso, 88, of Hawi died April 15 at home. Born in North Kohala, she was a clerk typist for the Kohala Sugar Company, a retired receptionist for Kohala Family Health Center, a former seminary teacher, and a den mother for Pack 47. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward and past president of the Relief Society for the Kohala Ward, Hilo Stake, and Kona Stake. Visitation 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday (May 13) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Aloha attire. Kenneth Toyoharu Mihara, 93, of Hilo died April 3 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Kalaoa Mauka, Papaikou, he was a retired specialty buyer for Sure Save Supermarket, a U.S. Army World War II veteran, member of Hilo Hooganji Mission and a former Kiwanis and Hilo Interpreters Club member. Yasuko Nagata, 91, of Hilo, formerly of Pasadena, Calif., died on April 13 at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Roxanne Sayoko Vagay, 66, of Mililani died Feb. 25 at Pali Momi Hospital in Aiea, Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was a longtime employee of the Honolulu City Clerk’s office.
